Photographed by Lisa Valentini and set designed by Svea Jürgenson, this campaign comes to life in the intimate space of YVY founder Yvonne Reichmuth’s loft – where the captivating Sarah moves in leather, framed by timeless design icons.
Leather wraps the body like a second skin – tight, deliberate, unrelenting. She moves, and the leather moves with her – creases, shifts, breathes. Straps weave across the form, tracing it curves, framing its power. A breath, a touch, the quiet tension between restraint and release.
STRENGTH IS IN THE STILLNESS
A meeting of Icons – one molded in leather, the other ones in fiberglass and hardboard panels, all designed to endure. The new Round Bag resting against the DSR chair designed by Charles & Ray Eames – a shilouette that has stood the testament of time meets one designed to do just the same.
Another masterpiece, the Wiggle Stool by Frank Gehry (1972), is a sculptural paradox of softness and robustness. The „Easy Edges“ of Gehry’s creation meet the smooth lines of Italian leather in a peaceful coherence.
